AflaSafe is a research based biological product that protects food crops from developing aflatoxins
In Mozambique it is predominantly in groundnuts, maize and cassava – all important staple foods used in all regions.
The production of Aflasafe will start early 2023.
Distribution will take place in 4th Q 2023 so all regions have access to AflaSafe for the late 2023 & 1Q 2024 planting season of groundnuts and maize
Distribution
The company strategy is to distribute all across Mozambique within 2-3 years. We have distribution channels in parts of Nampula and Zambezia province today and seeking additional distribution partners to create a national network for the promotion, sales and distribution in every province of Mozambique. Production facility
The vision for the Aflasafe production facility is to position Nampula and Mozambique as sole AflaSafe producer and an initial aflatoxin-free groundnut processor

Aflatoxins are toxins produced by certain fungi that are found on agricultural crops such as groundnuts, maize and cassava.
Who we are
Aflalivre Moçambique SA is set up to produce and distribute AflaSafe for the Mozambique market. The owners are partners within the Mozambique farming community and active in building strong cooperatives in the region.
